Sun
Orange sun pours juicy life into the sky
Pink swirls dance in the morning breeze
Crystal droplets evanesce into the sky leaving smells of summer grass
Lemon sun bursts happy songs into nature
Blue kool-aid sky laughs at careless playful children
Ruby heat bakes the black pavement, rushing bare feet along
Grapefruit sun dims the evening into backyard barbeque's
Violet sky silences birds, cuing crickets and toads
Diamond stars explode with technicolor fireworks
Rain
droplets gently pouring down
dark clouds above softly cry
ever threatening the swiftly drown
wind whispering a stressful sigh
dark clouds above softly cry
their tears seep into its envious ground
wind whispering a stressful sigh
casting dry leaves all around
their tears seep into its envious ground
the parched lakes slowly pacify
casting dry leafs all around
trees sway and bend in reply
the parched lakes slowly pacify
slipping on a water gown
trees sway and bend in reply
grazing the wet murky brown
slipping on a watery gown
ever threatening to swiftly drown
grazing the wet murky brown
droplets gently pouring down
Silence - An imitation of "Storm"
how long have I
been in this silence
so overwhelmed by all its imminence
this sound is getting harder to bear
I don't know what to do, I swear
I reach to you for help
the silence must be broken
I look to you for help
this silence must be broken
and I will wait for your reply
and you will look into my eyes
and I sit and listen
for this silence to be broken
for this silence to be broken
and I know you didn't mean
to break my heart like this
so why are you the one crying in all this empty silence
wishing and hoping, I no longer wait
I'm done wanting our happy fate
Space
During class my mind wanders
througts of yester-years appear
The pale, sweet scent of my nana
her silky, smooth wrinkles
pressed against my forehead
Cold misty morning I
ran on the beach alone
Sounds of footsteps echoes
and the lul of waves repeat
Back in the gym, my eyes
semi-clogged from chalk dust
from the bars make my eyes
water and when I stick it they
tell me I was wonderful and those
should be tears of joy
I remember the appluase of accomplishments
the beats and moves to every dance
Home made enchiladas sitting in the oven
The soft golden fur of my old best friend
